Operation Bivouac:
NZCF 8’s are due back tonight for Operation Bivouac, the annual Waikato Base Camp, being held at Aramiro Station on the weekend 26 – 28 March. The cost of $55.00 each which covers for and bus transport must be paid by Wednesday 24th. Anyone who has a problem with payment should talk to their Flight Commander, in the first instance.

Canteen:
From this evening, during break, cadets will be able to purchase a Mother Earth Muesli bar for a $1.00 and a can of Fizzy drink for $2.00. This is a trail being run by the PSC and maybe extended to other products, however, it will be terminated if rubbish is left around the place or unfinished cans of drink are thrown into the rubbish bins. Empty the cans before disposing of them.

Waikato Aero Club BBQ:
On Saturday 20th of this Month the Waikato Aero Club are running an open day and once again they have asked if we could assist them with car parking and by running a BBQ. Names will be taken next week.

Pre-Course / Catch up Training:
Sunday 21st of this month we will be running our standard pre course and catch up training day.

NZCF Course:
The following personnel have been accepted to attend Area or National courses; Junior Leaders CDT
Dyer, CDT Greenfield, Senior Leaders CPL Armstrong, CPL Jessop, National Gliding FSGT Kloeg. We are still waiting to hear about the Outdoor Leader courses. If you applied for any course and missed out, just try again at the very start of next term.

PSC AGM:
On Wednesday 24/3/10 from 18:45 hours the Parents Support Committee, are holding their Annual General Meeting. All parents are automatically members of this committee when your teenagers join the Squadron. At the AGM as well as electing the executive committee parents will set the unit fee’s to be charged for the next twelve months. If you available please attend this meeting.

Winter Show:
Surprisingly we have been approached to run the car parking at this year’s Winter Show, which is being held from the 30th of April until 2nd of May, this is earlier than in the past. We will need cadets and parents to assist with this task and a roster will come out shortly for personnel to select the times they can help.

Trolley Derby:
The Hamilton Blue Light Trolley Derby is being held on Sunday 11th of April on Grantham Street. The Police have asked if we could provide cadets to assist as 'Track Marshalls' and with moving trolleys at the finish line. We will require about 20 personnel, the day will start at 08:00 and should finish around 14:30.

Boot Camp:
This years Boot Camp will be held on the last weekend of the April school holidays, 16 – 18 April, which is the weekend before ANZAC Day. This camp is being held at the Karakariki Christian Camp and will cost $45.00. NZCF 8’s must be to the PSC by 31/3/10.
